Asking for help can be hard. That’s why we offer a safe place to talk – you don’t have to face it alone.
Deltassist provides assistance to youth (under 19) who are at risk of committing suicide in Delta.
Services Provided:
You can directly access our services by contacting Deltassist at 604-594-3455 and ask for our Suicide Prevention Program or speak to your school counsellor about making a referral.
If coming in to our offices for help is a barrier for you, then outreach services are also available in the community or at your school.
Please note that we are not a crisis centre and that it might take up to one business day to respond. We are open Monday – Friday 9-4:30pm. For immediate assistance, please refer to the resources below.

Know Someone Thinking about Suicide?
Deltassist provides assistance to youth (under 19) who are at risk of committing suicide in Delta.

- Short-term counselling services
Parents, caregivers, schools and medical professionals can directly access our services by contacting Deltassist Suicide Prevention Program at 604-594-3455 and ask for our Suicide Prevention Program.

If you are concerned for the immediate safety of a youth (suicide, life-threatening injury or mental health concerns), please take them to Surrey Memorial Hospital, which is open 24 hours a day, every day. If you need help getting the child/youth to the hospital, you can call 911 or Delta Police at 604 946 4411 and request assistance.
