Sexual Assault Response

Healing & Awareness

The Sexual Assault Response Program is committed to ending sexualized violence through healing and community awareness. We are dedicated to supporting all women, men, Trans, Two-Spirit and Gender Non-Conforming survivors of sexual assault, who are aged 16 and up, through individual and/or group counselling, education, and empowerment.

Our goal is to provide support to all survivors no matter where they are in their healing journey or when the assault occurred.  All of our services are free and are offered in-person, online and/or over the phone.  Individual counselling services are available to residents of Delta, Lander and Tsawwassen; however, group counselling is open to residents and non-residents.

Community Awareness

Sexualized violence is widespread and it happens in every community.  It affects people of all genders, ages and social groups. It is defined as any sexual activity where consent is not freely given.  Even for those of us who don’t directly experience it, we are all impacted by sexual violence because of how it affects communities and society – especially, survivors and their loved ones.

The Sexual Assault Response Program is committed to increasing community awareness and ending sexualized violence. Visit our website regularly for upcoming events and/or community awareness campaigns at www.deltassist.com/news/upcoming-events
