Deltassist Family and Community Services
Caring for Delta residents since 1972
We are a non-profit providing a variety of services to Delta residents. We offer counselling, workshops, services for seniors, support at Christmas, assistance with taxes, help locating food when times are difficult, and more. We also keep a database of over 600 service providers in Delta and can help you find the services you need.
Counselling
We offer individual, couple and family counselling - and workshops - on topics such as substance use, parenting, and dealing with violence or abuse in intimate relationships. We provide services to those referred to us by BC MCFD, support to survivors of sexual assault, and assessment and counselling for youth at risk of suicide.
Community
Our community programs include various efforts to address food security in Delta and to prevent relationship violence. We also support low income Delta residents with a free tax clinic and by providing toys and food hampers at Christmas.
Seniors
We offer seniors short term counselling, emotional support, global assessments of current functioning, education, and referrals to other service providers. We provide Delta seniors with Better at Home non-medical home support services. And we have prepared a handbook which lists useful local services for seniors.
We provide services and care to everyone, regardless of age, ability, gender, gender identity, race, religion or belief, or sexual orientation.

Volunteer with Us!
There are many ways you can volunteer with Deltassist to help your community: gardening, helping with grocery shopping, driving people to medical appointments, delivering bread and doing research and data entry (to help us keep our list of services up to date).
