Meals on Wheels: South Delta is a community service run by dedicated volunteers. We deliver hot meals to those in need in Ladner and Tsawwassen.

Meals are prepared at KinVillage in Tsawwassen where we use the freshest ingredients to create our dinners, home-made soups and desserts. Meals could be for a senior, or someone who has had recent surgery. You can order for a short or long time depending on your circumstances.

Residents living in South Delta who are experiencing physical, psychological or social disability or who are convalescing may be eligible for this service.  Clients must be able to prepare other meals and must be able to eat a basic diet.

How Does it Work?

• Meals are delivered by a friendly volunteer between 11 am and 1 pm.  
• Additional meals can be ordered any day.
• Menu rotation avoids repetition.
• Traditional holiday meals can be ordered for Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
• Dietitian supported special meals can be provided upon request for those who require low-sodium, pureed, salt-free, or diabetic meals.
• Special packaging allows your food to be delivered hot.  The meal can easily be reheated in a microwave if you prefer to eat it later in the day.
• Please check with us to confirm prices, which are subject to change.  Currently, hot meals cost $8.00 each.
