Nobody's Perfect Parenting
Nobody’s Perfect Parenting is a free 6 week parenting group offered to parents with children age 5 years and under. This group is offered three times a year, alternating between North and South Delta.
This group provides parents with a safe space to learn and build on their parenting skills while interacting with other parents who have same-aged children.
The sessions cover useful information about children’s health, safety, development and behaviour. The program aims to support and encourage confidence in positive parenting and connection for isolated parents.
Child care is provided during these weekly, two hour sessions, usually held on Saturday mornings. Transportation assistance is also provided if necessary.
Positive Parenting Workshops
for parents of children 5 to 12
We occasionally offer this workshop for parents where they can enjoy meeting other parents, sharing stories and feeling empowered while learning and building on skills. . There is no cost to Delta residents to participate.

Young Parent Outreach
Deltassist offers teen parents support, parenting education and mentoring.
Through our Young Parent Outreach program our counsellors are here to help young parents meet personal goals while encouraging healthy pregnancy and development of their children.
In addition to personal support we also help young parents acquire the infant supplies needed to care for a baby and connect them to other community resources that will prove helpful during their pregnancy and in raising their child.
