Sexual Assault Response Program -Exploring Anger – Online Group

This is a 6 week closed group for all individuals 16 years and older.  It explores emotion regulation and facilitates a deeper understanding of anger as well as how trauma and abuse can impact our experiences of anger.

Date: Every Tuesday from  March 29 – May 3, 2022 

Time: 10:30 am – 12:30

Anger Management Group- in English for anyone who is 19 years and older 

Deltassist is pleased to offer Anger  Management Group in English for anyone who is 19 years and older and are self-referred. This group will teach participants the skills of effective communication, problem-solving, listening, conflict resolution, impulse control, stress management and coping strategies in relationships that may or may not contain abuse. These groups are for people who have not been charged with or, are not currently facing charges related to domestic violence.

Dates: February 10 to April 28

Time: Thursday evenings 5:00 – 7:00 pm

Location: Group will be held through Zoom

Cost: Free of Charge!!!

pre-screening interview before participating in group is required

 

Yoga For Stress Relief

This is a free online program offered through Zoom. Pr-registration in required.

Class Days and Times:

*Yin YogaEvery Monday 6-7 PM

The main goal of Yin Yoga is to open joints, stretch deep tissue and release deep, long held emotion. In Yin Yoga we learn how to better listen to our bodies, by allowing ourselves to slow down enough to listen to the clues from the unconscious mind of what is actually going on we learn everything we need to know.

Note: You will want to have a few pillows (couch, bed or throw pillows will work fine), as well as a blanket or two to ensure you are nice and comfy as well as fully supported for your practice

 

*Restorative Yoga – Every Wednesday 7:30-8:30 PM

Restorative Yoga is designed to provide support and help the body relax. Often referred to as active relaxation we learn to fully support our physical bodies in order to allow for a gentle opening and softening in to relaxation.

Note: You will want to have a few pillows (couch, bed or throw pillows will work fine), as well as a blanket or two to ensure you are nice and comfy as well as fully supported for your practice
