Deltassist Christmas Programs, Information and Registration 2022
Low-income Delta families, individuals and seniors are eligible to register for our Christmas program starting Monday October 31st.
WHO CAN APPLY?
You may apply for help at Christmas for yourself and any dependents who live with you if:
- You are on a limited income; and
- You live in Delta.

HOW TO APPLY
Applications will be taken in person only. You can pick up and fill out an application or use link below to print out and pre-fill it before you come into either one of our offices.
When you submit your application form you will need the following documentation:
1. Proof of income (e.g. 2 months of recent pay stubs/bank statements for ALL adults in household;
2. Proof of residence (e.g. recent utility bill with your name & address); and
3. Your children’s care cards (for each child on application).
Return your application in person to either of our following Deltassist offices:
(Monday – Friday, 9:30am – 12:00pm, & 1:00 pm-4:00pm)

(PLEASE NOTE: both offices are closed for lunch between 12 – 1 pm)
Toy Depot & Food Hamper Deadline is December 9th
TUESDAY, December 13th: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
WEDNESDAY, December 14th: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
THURSDAY, December 15th: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
The Toy Depot is held at: EAST DELTA HALL, HIGHWAY 10 & 104th STREET (located at the corner).
You will not be admitted to the Toy Depot before your assigned time. Non-registered individuals will not be admitted to the Toy Depot.
You are welcome to come to select gifts for all your children who are 16 years old and younger. Please make arrangements for your children to be looked after when you come to the Toy Depot, as we are not able to admit children. Clear plastic bags will be provided for your toys for each child.
Please note: You will be mailed a letter in early December informing you of your Toy Depot date and time. If you have not received your letter by Monday December 5th after you have received your regular mail delivery, please phone (604-594-3455) for your Toy Depot date and time. Please bring your letter and your ID to the Toy Depot.
You will receive ONE of the following:
1.SERVICE CLUB HAMPER:
Your hamper will be delivered Saturday, December 17th 2022 between 9am and 1pm
(Bad weather conditions may delay deliveries times.)
You must be home to receive your hamper. If for any reason you cannot be home, please arrange to have someone there to accept your hamper so that you get it before Christmas. The hamper will not be left if there is no one home. On the day of delivery no one will be in either Deltassist office after2pm.
To ensure the safety of the people delivering please make sure dogs are tied up.
Families are chosen randomly for sponsored hampers and must not have been sponsored in the last 3years. If your family is chosen you will be contacted about the pick up date and time, as we do not deliver sponsored hampers.
