Deltassist continues to rely on the overwhelming support of the community to meet the increasing need of low-income families, seniors and individuals in Delta.

This year’s Toy Depot will be held Dec. 10 to 12. Toys are needed for children from birth to 16 years of age. As always, the need is greatest for infants and teens.

Christmas food hampers are being delivered by local service clubs on Saturday, Dec. 21. Items most needed include breakfast cereals, canned ham and chicken, canned hearty meals (stew), peanut butter, rice, pasta and sauce, hot chocolate and cookies.

New, unwrapped toys and non-perishable food items can be dropped off at the Deltassist office in Ladner, 202–5000 Bridge St., weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m.
